About me
Monte has 25 years of executive leadership experience in the Hospitality industry. Prior to that, he started his career like many, as a dishwasher. He worked through all of the front of house and back of house hourly positions and into management. 2 years into his restaurant management career he rose to General Manager. 2 years later he was General Manager for Wolfgang Puck.
Then in 2005, Monte moved to Nashville, Tennessee. The highlight of his time in Nashville included Director of Operations for Tomkats Hospitality which included two restaurants in the top 100 revenue restaurants in the US. When the pandemic ravaged our country, Monte moved to Tampa, Florida and started Monte Silva Coaching.
Today, Monte is the owner and coach of his coaching and consulting company Monte Silva Coaching, the CEO of the management company, Ten Tables Hospitality, author of Shift Happens-7 Proven Strategies to Help Your Restaurant Crush the New Economy, the host of Restaurant Success Club Podcast, and speaker.
