Jacob Trevino, Founder and CEO of Gorilla Cinema Presents has specialized in bar consulting and developing cocktail programs for the past 18 years. He is the owner and managing operator of The Overlook Lodge (ranked by Playboy Magazine and USA Today as one of the top bars in the United States) The Lonely Pine Steakhouse, The Highball, Covington Yard, Oakley Greens and Tokyo Kitty.
With roots that lie in Texas and Louisiana, he’s been able to follow trends in the cocktail market and bring that knowledge to the Midwest bar and restaurant scene. He has also done consulting innovation work for Kroger Brands, Pepsi-Co + Frito-Lay, Bacardi, Codigo, and Casamigos. He has also worked to bring iconic American legacy brands such a Pan Am to life with Gorilla Cinema's Pan Am Layover Lounge "Pop up" bar experience, which toured Ohio in 2019.
Armed with that varied background, clients in multiple states and consulting projects with budgets ranging from 120K to 8 million dollars, he’s been able to bring new and innovative ideas to the midwest market. Recently named Cincinnati Refined’s “Most Interesting Bar Owner in Cincinnati”, he continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and hospitality.
