About me
Adam Orman’s culinary career spans over two decades, starting in front-of-house in New York and San Francisco and evolving into a seasoned restaurateur in Austin. His early work at Cafe at Rockefeller Center and collaborations with influential owners at An American Place, Jojo, and Savoy honed his focus on local sourcing and sustainability. Moving to Austin in 2009, Orman co-founded L’Oca d’Oro in 2016 and later Bambino in March 2024. His restaurants emphasize community and quality and innovative wage models, continuing Orman’s commitment to ethical practices. His leadership extends to Good Work Austin, an organization he co-founded, fostering healthy careers in the local food and beverage industry through professional development and advocacy for more equitable practices.
